In search of a Guru
We may read all the books we want, join all kinds of forums and purchase all kind of software but there comes a time where all of us (read traders) will need a Mentor.
In my country they are called Guru's literally meaning (in Sanskrit) a person with great knowledge and wisdom who has the ability to give pass his knowledge. Unfortunately the west has twisted the meaning of a Guru. As tradition goes it is the prerogative of the Guru to select his student and not vice versa. Once the Guru accepts the student the process of mentoring carries on till the Guru is satisfied that the person is now transformed to a master or has the ability to become a Guru himself. At this juncture the Guru may or may not demand compensation from the pupil ..........i.e. can demand anything any amount of money, property, wealth etc including his life. As per tradition the pupil who is now a master must fulfill his Guru's wish. The relationship between the Guru and the pupil is life long even after he completes his education
Unfortunately the tradition is almost dead in my country. The Guru demands money before educating and most of the Guru's are fakes as commercial interest precede education. Some of these fake Guru's have traveled from my country and have reached your shores. Beware of them!!
Meanwhile we continue our search for the true Guru.
